Eyerusalem Adugna Jiregna (b.1993) is an emerging photographer and fashion designer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Informed by her experience in design, she uses photography to document the vibrant everyday realities of the nation's inhabitants. She specialises in evocative and sensitive portraits, which are disinguished by their brilliant multitude of colours and textures.

Jiregna has received considerable acclaim for her work both in Ethiopia and internationally. She has exhibited at the Kasher Gallery, Refraction: New Photography of Africa and Its Diaspora (2018); From Our Perspective: Young Ethiopian Photographers Changing the Gaze; the New York photography festival Photoville 2016 and participated in the New York Times Portfolio Review 2016. Her work will be part of the upcoming exhibition: Treasures of Islam in Africa. From Timbuktu to Zanzibar at the Musée Mohammed VI d'art moderne et contemporain in Rabat. Eyerusalem Jiregna has studied in Ethiopia and in the USA. Her photographs have been featured among others on the Everyday Horn of Africa in Mfon: Women Photographers of the African Diaspora; Marie Claire and Whitewall Magazine. She was recently named as featured in the New York Times article "Five Art Accounts to Follow on Instagram Now".

Graciela Iturbide nació en la ciudad de México en 1942. En 1969 ingresó al Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos de la Universidad Autónoma de México. Fue ahí donde conoció al fotógrafo Manuel Álvarez Bravo quien posteriormente la invitó a ser su asistente. Desde entonces Graciela ha fotografiado lo que la sorprende, utilizando la cámara como pretexto para conocer el mundo. De 1971 a la fecha, la obra de Graciela Iturbide se ha exhibido en más de noventa muestras individuales y numerosas exposiciones colectivas en museos, galerías e instituciones especializadas en fotografía moderna y contemporánea en América, Europa y Asia. Su obra ha sido publicada y reproducida en diversos países, en libros monográficos y de género, catálogos y revistas. Abundantes textos críticos y literarios han sido dedicados a su obra.

Entre los premios, becas, comisiones de trabajo con los que su obra ha sido reconocida se encuentran el premio W. Eugene Smith, el Gran Premio del Mes de la Fotografía en París, el Gran Premio de Hokaido, Japón, el Premio de la Ciudad de Arles, Francia. En el año 2008, su obra fue distinguida con el más alto reconocimiento en el mundo de la fotografía, el Premio de la Fundación Hasselblad. En 2014, el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes rinde un Homenaje a su obra en el Palacio de Bellas Artes y ese año es galardonada con el premio Infinity que el International Center of Photography entrega por su trayectoria como fotógrafa. Recientemente el National Museum of Women in the Arts la reconoció con el Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in the Arts 2020 y el Outstanding Contribution to Photography Award 2021 otorgado por la organización Sony World Photography.

Caroline Metcalfe is a Director of Photography and runs CMC consulting. Well connected with photographers, agents and publishers globally she specializes in commissioning, editing, researching and conceptualizing photography, including shoot production and project management in both editorial and commercial spheres.

Most recently Director of Photography at Conde Nast Traveller, her career spans being Photo Editor of several newspaper magazine including the Financial Times, The Independent, Saturday Telegraph magazine and the Observer.

She currently works on a broad range of editorial magazines commissioning covers and 10-12 page photo essays. Primarily she works on a number of global commercial photographic projects focusing on luxury and lifestyle brands.

She has run workshops and discussion groups on lifestyle photography and is a regular judge of high-profile international photography competitions. She participates in portfolio reviews and mentoring.

Caroline is known to be a passionate and resourceful problem-solver with over 20 years experience and extensive global contacts. She has worked with some of the world’s best-known photographers as well as always being committed to encouraging new talent.

GMB Akash is an award-winning Bangladeshi photographer whose work has been featured in over 100 major publications including Vogue, The Economist, Amnesty Journal and The Fader. His photographs have been exhibited all over the world with solo exhibitions in Bangladesh, Germany, Portugal and the USA.

In 2002, he became the first Bangladeshi to be selected for the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in the Netherlands. In 2004, he received the Young Reporters Award from the Scope Photo Festival and in 2009, he was awarded the international "Travel photographer of the Year" title at the International Travel Photographer of the Year Competition.
In 2012 he presented the results of his 10 year project "Survivors" with proceeds from the resulting publication going towards helping the subjects of the book establish their own small businesses.
In 2013, he founded the GMB Akash Institute of Photography in Bangladesh teaching students from all over the world. The proceeds from his photography workshops go towards the provision of basic education for street children, underprivileged talented students and child labourers.

GMB Akash has previously served as a jury member in international photo contests such as the Friends of the Earth International Photo Competition (The Netherlands) and the Worldwide Photography Gala Award (UK). In December 2017 he participated in the National Geographic Exodus Fest in Aveiro, Portugal where he exhibited, spoke and gave a master class.

Con un enfoque particular en la fotografía humanista, la carrera galardonada de Song Gangming abarca 43 años.

En 2004, su obra "Blessing" ganó el 27º premio de excelencia de la Bienal fotográfica en blanco y negro. En 2005, "Dawn" ganó la medalla de oro en la 14ª exposición de Hasselblad en Austria. Su obra "Hui Ju Reflection" ganó el primer premio en el Premio de Contribución Humana de las Naciones Unidas en 2000, el Silver Award por la 27a Exposición Nacional de Cine de China y el séptimo Gold Award Chino para Fotografía de Bellas Artes. En 2006, ganó el Premio de Contribución Especial por el 50 aniversario de la Asociación de Fotógrafos Chinos.

En 2013, "The Long March", filmada durante un viaje en solitario de 1290 kilómetros, y su exposición "The Long March of One Man", ganó el premio a la categoría "registro social" de la exposición de fotografía internacional PingYao de 2016.

En 2018, fue juez en el duodécimo premio de la Academia de Fotografía de China.

Coşkun Aral es un fotoperiodista, periodista de televisión, productor de películas documentales y un corresponsal de guerra turco. Empezó su carrera como fotoperiodista en 1974 trabajando para el periódico Günaydin and Gün.

Luego trabajó para las revistas Time, Newsweek y Paris Match.

Su carrera lo ha llevado a países como en Líbano, Irán, Irak, Afganistán, Irlanda del Norte y Chad.

El fotógrafo es el cofundador y fue el Director General del primer canal de televisión turco dedicado a documentales y viajes.

Filma documentales internacionales, participa en exposiciones de fotografías y ha publicado varias colecciones de libros fotográficos.
