Hannah Reyes Morales is a Filipina photographer whose work explores how historical memory and current events shape daily life. Her long-term project Living Lullabies highlights the role of lullabies in creating safe spaces for children and caregivers in difficult environments, blending photography, audio, animation, and performance. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic Magazine, and The Washington Post. She is the recipient of the Tim Hetherington Visionary Award, the ICP Infinity Award for Documentary Practice, and was named a cultural leader by the World Economic Forum ASEAN. In 2021, she was commissioned as the Nobel Peace Prize photographer, and more recently received a World Press Photo Award, a Pictures of the Year International Award, and a 2024 Pulitzer Prize nomination. She is a co-founder of Emerging Islands and a National Geographic Explorer.
